Total Rewards Comp Question

I've had the Total Rewards credit card the last 4 years or so, and maintained platinum level; however, I've only stayed once at a Caesar's property (Linq) a few years ago, and only played twice in their properties--for very few $. I was stunned, therefore, when I logged in this morning and casually looked at properties, to learn that I have comped rooms available. I booked 2 free nights at Paris for August, when driving through w/my daughter, and noticed I can also get 2 nights at Caesar's in early July when I'll be out for another short trip. I'm wondering if someone can tell me why these would be available to such a non-frequenting low roller? And my second question: if I stay at Caesar's in July but don't give them much play, would that jeopardize my August Paris comp, when I am planning on playing there? Thanks for any information--just trying to make sure I don't step into anything I'll wish I hadn't, out of ignorance.

Booking 2 nights comped at Caesar's in July will not affect your reservation at Paris. Enjoy your stays, play and eat where you want. Low play will not affect current reservations, however, might affect reservations after your August trip. I'm guessing they're giving the rooms to see where you might fit as a player. If your confirmation says comped, the rooms are comped.

Thanks Lisa! I was leaning towards that assumption, but it helps to get another's thoughts. Mostly I'm still surprised TR is being so generous w/their offer given my lack of play there.
