Vegas Trip

We are visiting Vegas 30th-5th. Staying at MC for 2 nights then Encore for 3. Would like some suggestions for dinners. We are doing Ellis Island and Magnolias. Was thinking about Peppermill because we have never been. I have never stayed so far north on the strip. My husband is rather...cheap!! So he won't go for $100/person dinners. So I was looking for some "reasonable" suggestions. I have 60,000 MyVegas points that I was going to use for some breakfast buffets...MGM, Bellagio and Mirage. I know there is a 3 redemption limit, but is that true for activities also? I was thinking about the Shark Reef and Madame Tussaud's. We have tickets to KA, Cher and LeReve. Supposed to snow here tomorrow, so I cannot wait for the Vegas weather!! Thank you to all that help. I really appreciate it.
We went to Peppermill for the first time on our last trip. Breakfast was good and it was a bucket list item to see the place. Prices were reasonable for the strip and portions were ridiculous. I ordered pancakes that literally could have fed 4 people. If hubby is cheap think about sharing there.
Thanks!
The MyVegas redemption limit is a TOTAL of 3 redemptions. You can't get 3 from the restaurant category and then another three from a different category. One way around this is to buy chips on MyVegas. I did that last year and was able to redeem 4 rewards. I have found that the best value is redeeming for free slot play. Last year I did one for $50 and one for $25. Basically how it works is you enter your slot play and then each time you spin the machine you will get back how much you wagered plus any winnings there are. I ended up cashing out for just about $75. Last week, I bought some more chips hoping to get 4 rewards for my upcoming trip. I bought the $9 package and paid an additional $9 to spin the bonus wheel I ended up winning 5X what I paid for and ended up playing that up to 40,000,000 chips at one point. During that time, I increased my gold coin total by more than 100,000 coins. I currently have over 450,000 coins and my trip isn't until late June. I might not be able to spend them all.

Kathi, immediately call the LVA office and order the 2017 Eating Las Vegas. It's a great guide. Based upon my experiences eating at all the Wolfgang Puck places, stay away. The food falls between frozen dinners from the grocery store and just plain bad. The service was always fair to bad. Otherwise, from the Monte Carlo I would cross the street to Excalibur and take the tram down to Mandalay Bay. I enjoyed seeing the Shark Reef (and I'm from Florida) and I know you will enjoy Border Grill for dinner (if you like Tex-Mex). From Encore, you've got a few choices at Wynn/Encore (ask the Front Desk or Concierge) and many more at Venetian/Mirage/Caesars. I've enjoyed Bouchon at Venetian a couple of times, both great, and under your $100 range. Your tickets to KA and LaReve are great! I'm not a Cher fan. Absolutely recommend seeing Absinthe at Caesars if you are OK with extremely foul language. If not, drink until you are OK with foul language and see it anyway. Your funny bone will thank you. Have a great trip. Wish I were there.
Oops, forgot. Also, go to vitalvegas.com and click on Restaurant at the top of the website. He covers quick service restaurants and burger bars like no one else. And, depending upon how much you drink, will come in under $100. Wait, why that limit? Just get a Royal Flush at video poker and treat yourself.
Thanks to all for the information!! Leaving in 9 hours!!!
