3 Things I've ONLY Done in Vegas

1. asked if I was a school teacher

2. watched the fireworks outside on NYE

3. bought a Coach bag

1) Observe boxer Leon Spinks sitting in a sports store signing autographs for a charge - - and getting no takers. (Perhaps the shoe should have been on the other foot - the store paying people to get Leon's autograph.)

2) Enjoy a breakfast buffet for two - complete with made-to-order omelets - for five bucks - - something a little harder to do these days than it used to be.

3) Consider a visit to a certain Pawn Shop a tourist destination.

1. Lost my wallet on the floor of a locals bar with $$$ in it. Came back three hours later and it was still there.

2. Pulled my first "all nighter" at the Lady Luck when I came to Vegas at CES time with no reservation.

3. Enjoyed my first of many comped meals at Lillie Langtry's at the Golden Nugget. I miss Art.

1. Got my first ever comped room - at the Westward Ho
2. Gave money to a street person - he was holding a sign that read, "why lie?? I need a beer"
3. Drank screwdrivers at 6 Am with my mom on her first and only trip to Vegas in 1989, she passed away in 1993. She had never been on a plane before!

1. Ate around 10,000 calories a day
2. Drank beer with every meal of the day, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and in between each
3. Paid money to sit in a rook made of ice and have a drink (Ice Bar @ the Monte Carlo)

1. Split 10s at a blackjack table - count was monstrous and I hit an ace on each one.
2. Got propositioned by a hooker (on Fremont near the late great Western casino.) Actually, her pimp was with her and said "Hey, man, want some of this?" I guess he thought I was hopelessly drunk or blind....
3. Ate vegan donuts - yea Ronalds!!!

1. Fell madly in love with a city.
2. Re-married the love of my life.
3. Had a great time - everytime.

1. Rode an elevator that had both a bride and an Elvis impersonator [he was oriental].
2. Found a $100.00 bill on the casino floor
3. Did the money/prize grab inside a clear box at the New Frontier

1) Won a $1000 @ a casino
2) Ate @ 2 different buffets in one day
3) Walked up to and had a conversation with a cop while I was so drunk that I could hardly stand up straight - would have been arrested for public intoxication in any other city

1. found $800.00 on the casino floor. (always woundered if someone did this on purpose.)

2. Stayed up 26 straight hours! Drug-free, well filled with alcohol.

3. Carried my future son-in-law on my back across Las Vegas Blvd.. He is 15 pounds heavier than me. My daughter said "now it is my turn." I told her she was too heavy. She goes about 110 LBs.
