3 Things I've ONLY Done in Vegas

1. Started my day with blackjack and a bloody Mary.
2. Saw a male review, Thunder from Downunder.
3. Spun the Big Wheel on Price is Right. (no, I didn't have the highest amount, but they gave me a tee shirt)

Yes, once at Plaza (several years ago) while I was playing Blackjack, a guy at Third base sent over to the woman at First Base (who had ran out of $ a $100 chip) and he even sent me (and I'd only been there a few minutes [maybe 5 at the most] a $25 Chip. I was stunned and mouthed "Thank you" to him!

And also, even before I ever started getting comps, I got a Room at Four Queens Hotel/Casino (from a promotion I had read about in John Patrick's old newsletter) for $5 (this was at 3PM in June -- a summer promotion where if you showed up at the Front Desk at 3PM, any unsold room could be had for $5). And two of the three nights I was able to share the room (since it had two beds) with a friend. And so I ended up with 3 Nights for $10! Where else can you do such a thing?

Jumped off the top of the strat tower
Drove around vegas in a new Camaro ragtop
Lost a lot of money

Been invited to do jagermeister shots at the dive bar next to Battistas with guys half my age.
Made random jesters with said guys while crossing the street.
At the chandelier bar, asked a group of well-dressed business people if they were attorneys only to have one of them tell me their profession is scummier than attorneys and they were used car salesman.

1. Got married at the LWC
2. Pick up my LVA coupon book.
3. Drove on and slept on the same street in differenct decades. Fremont St. Early 90's for driving. Took a nap watching one of the light shows a few years ago.

1) Arrived in Vegas
2) Stayed in Vegas
3) Left Vegas

1) Shot a gun (M-16)
2) Walked around with pockets full of silver dollars (mid to late 70's)
3) Stayed in run down motel with broken lock on door (really wanted one extra night and it ws the only place I could find)

1) Participated In A Horribly Awesome Ghost Tour
2) Laid by the Pool and Watch the Temp Go From 96 to 104 in Under 2 Hours
3) Saw 3 Great Shows/Concerts in 1 Night and Didnt Pay For Any

1) Had a security guard tell me that he was going to throw my wife and my fat asses down the stairs.
(Las Vegas Monorail - he allowed a whole group to enter through the exit - when he told me wait, I said, "well from where I am standing it says that this is the exit" He went ballistic. I filed a complaint - got 2 x 3 day monorail passes and he went looking for a job.

2) Gave a homeless guy $50.00. I had done really well that day, and had an instant connection with this guy - That was much more rewarding that pushing it through a slot.

3) Ordered a Scotch before breakfast.
