40th B day

I am turning 40 in 2012, we are thinking of spending a week in Vegas. I was thinking a few days off strip on Freemont we really liked the Rush Tower, but really did not have many perks. : (

But were also thinking of on strip a few days, any recomendations? Trying here sine not many responses, thanks

More info is needed...how many people...what kind of fun are u looking for? I was there for my birthday a few years ago and did a bar crawl with prizes during the game for various categories...

Just DH and I are going. Do the hotels you stay at do anything?

Unless you are pretty high up on the gambling rewards ladder...hotels and casinos dont really do anything for birthdays...I assume a restauranyt would if you mentioned it at dinner...

I got two free nights at Aria for my birthday next month.

I turned 40 last January, and Vegas was on my radar for the big 4-0, but my husband had a business trip that day in Chicago, so I joined him there. But I would definitely use that as ammo for a possible upgrade!

When is your birthday? (Summer, winter?) If it is pool season, spoil yourself with a cabana. I have received some offers for comped rooms for my birthday, but January is not the best time for me. Maybe it should be? I got an upgrade to Augustus Tower room for two nights after I said I finished the Vegas Half Marathon a couple years ago. Last year got Palace Tower. Just go for whatever you have a comped room and can accept the room you get, but see the 40th upgrade as a bonus! Hope you have an awesome 40th birthday!

1972... it was a great year. I'll be 40 myself in August. My wife hits it before me in May, but don't tell anybody (shhhh.).
