Sorry if this should be in Transaportation, but don't want it to get lost as the traffic is probably better here. Don't believe I saw this anywhere, but information for you if you have an upcoming rental in Vegas from Advantage.
I understood that Advantage was across the street from the main complex, which was confirmed by E-mail two days before to our arrival on Wednesday (7/30). At the airport I was standing around confused because there was no Advantage signage anywhere....because there no longer was any Advantage. Attendent told us they had just received the news that Advantage had totally pulled the pin.
There was an agreement made with Fox to cover reservations. So we had a car, but not across the street from the main building. The Fox lot is on LV Boulevard north almost to South Point. That meant a second shuttle ride out to there.
No issues with Fox as I had the correct car and they were able to pull up my confirm without issue. What it does mean is that you have a longer time gap between car drop-off and getting to the airport due to the firrst shuttle ride that you now need to get you to the main rental complex.
So that happened without warning, which was a bit annoying, particularly because I had just received that E-mail.
