Always just before I go to Vegas, trouble happens

Rockymet, had to laugh at your story about crawling in the attic and cutting the wires. Every time we lost power that damn siren would go off. Happened once while we were away. Neighbors were not amused. So up in the attic I go and cut the wires. I couldn't figure out how to silence it permanently any other way as the previous owners had it installed.

I had the alarm going off problem once many years ago. The alarm company changed their number and the alarm on our control panel did not get reset.

The technician did not come out for 2 or 3 days
so I disconnected the plug for the alarm.

When he came out, he had to program the whole system over again. LOL

Everything is looking up, the AC was repaired for a reasonable price, we got up-grades for the flight.
My wife called from her office and is running late, the staff finally figured out that she was going to be away for a few days and piled it on.
This time tomorrow we will be in the promised land!

Last night my wife reminded of a last minute emergency a few years ago that I purposely put out of my mind. I will share when I return home, I'm in too good a mood now.

Mark, I was going to drink to your good health on the bridge at sunrise, now I will just guzzle my drink and yours alone

Well, how about this ... I just booked for next week ... Sunrise Meet on Monday, the 4th (I could easily do Sunday or Tuesday)?
