Amigo pts @ other Stations properties

Does anybody(Sue Casey?)know for sure if you can use Amigo points at other Stations? I thought you could, but, whenever I try at Palace St, they are adamant that you cannot. I did a search that said you could, however I think the info might be dated(07').
If, as you describe, you've made multiple requests at Palace Station to use your Amigo points there, and the employees of Palace Station keep telling you that you cannot, well, I think it's time for you to conclude maybe you cannot, no matter what folks might tell you here.

I have used Fiesta points for our dinners at Palace Station's Oyster Bar on our March and May trips, but I had to go to the slot club with the bill.
YES, you can use Amigo points at Stations. In the past, the restaurants were able to swipe your Fiesta card and take points, but this has changed with their new computer system, unfortunately.

Here's how it works now -- go to the rewards center and ask to have Fiesta points transferred to your Stations card. You can transfer ONLY the amount of points you are going to use right then, so you need to know how much your bill is. If you want to use the points in the buffet, the rewards center rep will know how much you'll need, because it's a "set" price. But if it's for another restaurant, you'll need to get the bill first. The rep will transfer the points and print out a comp voucher for the exact amount needed.

You can do the same thing if you want to use the points for bingo -- I do this for people all the time. It also works at Fiesta, where you can transfer Stations points to your Fiesta card.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE CASEY!!!
GO SUSAN..~~~~IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY.....
Thanks soooo much for the nice civilized answer. I knew I had used them as u described on previous trips. My beef is why didn't the cafe know about this. Why could't they just tell me the procedure? Aren't the employees trained on the different methods of casino payment methods? Happy B-day, Sue.
Thanks!

As far as why they didn't know, I have no idea. Maybe the cafe employees are new to Station Casinos, hired when the Grand Cafe reopened and Coco's left, but that's not an excuse. Someone needs to tell them.

Chilcoot is totally wrong, by the way, lol.

That's impressive.

Wonder which set of Palace Station employees is incompetent, the ones vpbauer encounters or the ones westie does? Has to be one group or the other.
What part of "you have to go to the rewards center to transfer the points" do you not understand? The employees Westie encountered were not incompetent -- they were right.
