another tipping question

Agree with the $2 bills. I don't drink that much, so it doesn't really cost me much, but the twospot is kind of memorable, people seem to like them. I guess some people are supposedly superstitious about them, but I've never noticed any reluctance.
If I run out of singles.......I will cash out the Last hand, $1.25 and use that for cocktail service,
which is usually coffee or water bottle. lol

I have a few favorite machines at both Paris and Bally's. The late night CW at Bally's in my area is super. I am not a big tipper, but I always have my dollasr ready and she makes the rounds every ten minutes or so. I guess there are a lot of people playing the pennies who don't tip at all.

At Paris, the service is pretty fast regardless of time of day. Again, I tip a dollar and have it ready.

There is no doubt that at some casinos you could spit cotton!

I use the $2.00 bills but I finally had one older waitress (Harrah's poker pit) tell me she hates them..lol

Do you suppose the servers like $2 bills because they are receiving $2 instead of the customary $1? Meaning, is the appreciation for the bill itself or the fact the tip is more generous?

I tip $2 in single bills, especially when I start a session to get on the radar, and the servers always go out of their way to thank me, offer water, saying they will check back momentarily, etc.

Both.

I was thinking if I gave a brand new, $2 doller bill or one of the shiney Gold Presidents coins, the novelty of the bill or coin might induce a little better servive.

I have been to vegas 30 (ish) times and have found drink service from non existant to where they got multible drinks ahead of me! Just trying to be pro active

Coins are heavier, and those gals trays are already heavy.
I believe in Tip with paper. Bills or Tito.
I believe the dollar a drink rule- I always get 2 things.
Coffee/water.. ginger ale/water
coffee/grapefruit juice/no ice.

hence the $2.00 bills

Leave them at the Diamond Lounges too- dollar a plate and/or glass.
Crazy insane over the rock sugar sticks they give you with cappachinos there
