anyone know where these folks are at now????

I remember Ken being an avid golpher so you may find him in the golf section.

What I remember is people like Sue and so many others you mentioned making this a daily stop for me.  They also took their time never made fun of me and showed me Vegas. I love the LVA but I do miss the old boards.  

This is about trying to find someone from another Vegas forum from years ago.

The only Vegas forum I knew about 10-20 years ago was on Usenet, the old newsgroups for which you needed a newsreader program to access its content rather than a browser. I mention the forum in question this way, because I have a feeling LVA does not want other forums mentioned here by name.

This forum was wildly popular but totally unmoderated. It had TRs galore and a large group of regulars who met up in Vegas every year during WSOP and had their own poker tourney. After many years, the forum was destroyed by one or two trolls who innundated it with spammy posts to the point that it became useless. It no longer exists.

I'm wondering if anyone remembers or knows about a regular poster to that forum who was my favorite, although I could list a couple dozen people whom I miss from those days.

His name was Walt. He made several long (~two week) trips to Vegas every year, often with his father, though Walt, himself, was middle-aged. Walt was a quiet, understated kind of guy. He liked to play low stakes live poker and enjoyed music in the remaining free lounge type shows like Lon Bronson's band.

I've tried to find him on other boards without success. Has anyone seen his TRs aywhere? TIA for any info.

I just received a facebook post from The Matress Poker Tour (MPT) that showed Sionow (Jon) won their recent poker tour in Atlantic City. The poker tour still exists but some members don't post here much anymore.

What happened to Don Diego?

Don Diego posts frequently here in the Kitchen Sink section.

Poor old DonDiego tried to sign back in when they made the big-change to the website chat-rooms and the new software only registered "Don"; . . . guess the software didn't care for spaces.

My posts are pretty nearly all to be found in the "Kitchen Sink", aka "The Happiest Place on Earth"

Today's Poll Preview responses reminded me of a poster from way back..."Big Loser."  He always joked about being comped at The Western, whicb I guess is/was a fairly low rent joint. Big Loser's posts were always funny, upbeat.
