Bar rescue and Anthony

Does AC have any behind the scenes takes about his Bar Rescue appearance and what does the inside of his elbow look like?
He gave behind the scene details it in the LVA. I am more concerned with his agreement that bartenders should expect a 10% tip on royals from players at the bar.
He did a little editorial in this month's magazine. I have not seen the episode yet. Apparently the bad blood and physical confrontation was not staged. =)

10% tip on a Royal? Yeah, right. Dont plan your retirement around that estimate, Mr bartender.
I loved Bar Rescue this 1st season. Season 2 and 3 have consisted of 4 minute segments with 5 minutes of commercials.

I just saw the episode and it was about 42 Minutes of Show and 18 Minutes of Commercials!

I thought that the episode was not bad although the Doctor's behavior was deplorable with his comments toward the women (and I can now definitely understand why Anthony (in his article about Bar 702 in the July 2013 issue of the LVA) discussed Jon Taffer and the Doctor rolling on the floor about the Doctor's shocking comments to Jon's wife) and I was surprised that Anthony said that with a $1k jackpot, that Bar Tenders could get $100 (that's 10% -- what happened to 1% tipping?)!

I do have to say that the Bar doesn't list its hours in the photo that JMan listed or on the Bar 702 website, and so I know that JMan recently visited ("Summer Of Cal/Nev -- Day 18) Bar 702 only to find it closed. I do remember seeing briefly (in this show) the sign at Sand Dollar where it listed hours of 4PM to 6AM and so maybe that's why JMan found it closed.

I'm looking forward to the sequel: "Web Site Rescue". Rumor has it that this will air in February.
I watch the show last night. We are staying three nights at the Rio in August so we will go by 702 and check it out. I have no idea why Anthony said someone would throw a C-Note at the bartender for hitting a Royal unless the player was playing dollars. I have been known to tip my bartender $20 when I hit a $1000 royal that no one knew I hit but me (no hand pay) but a 10% tip ??? I have never heard of that and I am sure Anthony does not tip 10% when he makes a nice score. It would be tough to be a profitable professional gambler if tipping like that.
I asked Anthony about that $100 tipping and he told me that this tends to be common among the general crowd playing at bars (although I would think not by those who actually know about smart Video Poker play).

;-) Me too! Aside from the slow response time does anyone else have yellow lines running under all the text? It's driving me a bit batty!
