best deal on drinks

I was delighted to see premium beers on tap at El COrtez my last visit including Guiness and Sam Adams. They're comped for gamblers. I dont know the price otherwise.

Historically Slots-a-Fun always had $1 Heineken's and $1 Margaritas (slush mix with cheap tequila). Haven't been there in a couple years so prices may be higher now.

Good drink prices..... I would say if you want top shelf booze for a great price, you need to go to the El Cortez lounge. For about $ 6 - $ 8 each, you get some pretty high end hand crafted cocktails. They even offer happy hour specials. I like getting the traditional margarita which is made with Patron booze all for the low price of $8. The bar tender told me that this same drink would cost at least triple on the strip due to the fact it had Patron as part of its ingredients.

$2 each for all forms of drinks mircobeers, wine, and top shelf booze at Double Down Saloon during their happy hour weekdays noon-5pm. I had a 1 shot of Glenfiddich, 2 Grey Goose Vodka tonics, and a Bombay Sapphire Tonic = $8 bucks. I tipped a buck each round and the last two rounds was treated to 2 ass juice drinks free. Nice dive bar but not for everyone.

The stage door is....interesting. They apparently card everybody in the evenings. A regular told me they do that to keep the hookers and pimps out. I don't think the strategy was working.

South Point has an ongoing special on Friday nights. Any drink for 2 bucks. Beer, wine, cocktails, shots. I don't know if top shelf is included. But, like others, I plot down at a video poker machine and order what I want. Double B&B. Cosmo for the wife.
