Best Mesquite hotel/casinos & sportsbook question

Have never stopped in Mesquite. We are going to Zion Nat'l Park this summer and am thinking about staying in Mesquite for 2 days on the way. What are the best places to stay & play? And also, how many different sportsbooks are available (how many outs)? Thanks for any info?
The Casablanca I think is the best to stay at as the pool area is great, full casino with a sportsbook. They have a shuttle that will take you over to the Virgin River casino and from there you can walk across the street to the Eurerka casino. The same players card works at the Casablanca and Virgin River. The Virgin River is the least expensive of the 3 casinos. This last fall most of the table game started at 3 bucks and roulette had 50 cent chips.

If you golf there are some wonderful courses in Mesquite.

Eureka has just undergone another remodel, so that's where you'll want to stay. Nice rooms, good sized, remodel's a winner. Casa is tired; I was there last month for a golf tourney. We've stayed at the independent Falcon Ridge Hotel a few times. Large rooms. Not a casino property. But the most recent stay was 15 or so months ago so that's not exactly a current assessment. Enjoy Zion. And consider staying in St. Geo instead of Mesquite, unless you simply have a gambling jones that needs to be indulged. Lots to see and do in/around St. Geo.
