Best Place in Las Vegas to Propose

I will be in Las Vegas next month and will be asking my girlfriend to marry me. Where is the best place in Las Vegas to propose? Thanks.
Bellagio Fountains or Venetian gondolas; both cliche but most romantic
Bellagio has a private balcony above Picasso, you reserve it, lead your lady out where a table waits with two glasses of champagne, you pop the question and the fountains erupt.

Plan B: Take a bottle of wine and a picnic lunch to Red Rock Canyon or Mt Charleston and propose in Gods back yard.

Plan C: 6:00am take her onto the bridge crossing the Strip at Flamingo Rd and propose while the sun rises.

No not, I repeat, do not propose in a tiny apartment during halftime! Also do not ask me how I know this.
Or, propose during a gondola ride at the Venetian.

The best place to propose is when sitting together at a slot machine after winning Megabucks, but the odds of that are slim so I suggest either at the observation level of the Eiffel Tower or after dinner at the restaurant at the top of the Stratosphere.

Larry from Las Vegas, NV
Get the penthouse suite at Caesars. May cost a couple of bucks but worth it. Or.... the neon boneyard... you'll have a great story to tell the grand kids.
Top of the Eiffel Tower, or Eiffel Tower Restaurant, with a window view. Very nice.

I recommend keeping the ring in your pocket and looking at "all" of these suggestions made here, then at the appropriate time and place....ask her

My suggestion is to go to Fire valley state park (google it!) which is about a 1 hour drive from Las Vegas (slightly less maybe), drive into the park and drive until you see the welcome center (not the booth where you pay to get into the park -the welcom center). There is only one raod so it will not be too hard to do.
This is the important part.....there is a road beside the welcome center, that you have to go into the parking lot of the welcom center to get to, that goes into the hills "behind the welcome center. Within 5 minutes of going into those hills you will lose your breath as to the beauty that you will see.
My last trip there in April, 2 limo's pulled up at 11am and held an actual wedding (gowns, tuxes, Limo, the whole 9 yards!). The back drop for pictures could not be more perfect.

Good luck .....Weggie
personally I would not want to be in a shaky gondola and often the fountains don't spout if the winds are high but you could always dine on the patio at Olives/Bellagio.

Sunrise or sunset- Eiffel Tower might be the way to go..
or if your lucky...
keep the ring handy; if you win a handpay jackpot/ do it between them coming to stop the machine and coming back to pay you!!- win/win

Or order breakfast/room service and do it in front of your Strip View in the room.
Are the two of you flying in?
Arrange for a limo, and just as the limo approaches your hotel pop the ring and question (assumming there will be a ring).
Get the driver to snap a photo of the two of you, showing off the ring etc.
