The Best Thing I Ever Ate TV Show Discusses LV

Hi Group,

I'm now noticing that there is a new episode of the Food Network show "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" where the subject is food in Las Vegas.

This is being revealed by Gail Simmons; Ming Tsai; Michael Symon and Anne Burrell.

This show is airing tonight (Monday 6/13) at 10:30PM and 1:30AM. And look for future showings if you're interested in this stuff!

I saw that listed on the tv guide. Meant to watch but didn't remember until almost 11,I was bummed. What places did they cover?

JOHN
Mesa Grill, Rao's, SW Steakhouse, Lotus of Siam. Can't remember if I'm missing anything.
I've heard of lotus of siam, ithink on travel channel. Anyone ever eat there? For some reason it seems to have stuck out in my head that it was good. Might put it on the list for next visit.

JOHN

Lotus of Siam has been named one of the best Thai restaurants in the United States. Don't go for the buffet lunch (if they still have it).

They have daily chef offerings that are excellent. Hope you like spice...

I think that they mentioned China Poblano too. Maybe I should have written down what I saw for each chef, but I'm sure anyway that this show will air again. I'll try to keep my eyes open for it.

I'm now seeing that it is scheduled to air tomorrow night (Friday 6/24) at 10:30PM Pacific Time as well as (3 hours later) at 1:30AM Pacific Time.

I was disappointed. The Lotus of Siam was understandable. The Robuchon appetizer was nice -- and his restaurant was expected. But fried rice? Corn tamale? Grilled fish skewer? This is the BEST of Vegas? One the people selected had only been to Vegas once.
