BINGO

I'll be in vegas soon and the people I'm going with will want to play bingo what days and times can bingo be played and Sam's Town and Rivera?
The Riviera has closed their bingo hall. I don't know about Sam's Town. I know that South Point has bingo. We've played their a couple times. I believe they play every odd hour starting at 9 or 11am till like 9pm. We've also played bingo at the Silver Nugget too. I won there last year. There are two coupons in the MRB too. We'll be going there again the end of September.
Gold Coast has Bingo too!

Wifey is a big bingo fan, while I spend time at a vp machine, and I think nearly all of the bingo halls run at the top of the odd hour. Eastside Cannary is the only exception I know of and they run at the top of the even hour. If you google "bingo in LV" or check the LVA tab on gambling and then "bingo" I think you will find a complete list.

I highly suggest Gold Coast bingo. I rarely play bingo anywhere else in Vegas, and I play pretty much every day, most of the day when I'm there.
They play on the odd hours; go to https://www.goldcoastcasino.com/casino-gaming/bingo for more info. Make sure they get a B Connected card before they go up; you get electronic discounts with the card.
Arizona Charlies Boulder, and Decator, both have bingo on the odd hours,24 hours a day.
I don't get bingo. What if you're the only one in the room...say at a 3:00am bingo session? Is there a difference in payout if there are 3 people in the room compared with 300? How does the payout structure work?
Stu
The number of people playing has no effect on the payout structure. What does have an effect are

1) The level card you play, generally the following

Level 1 - $ 4 pays $ 50 for regular games $ 250 for the coverall
Level 2 - $ 7 pays $100 for regular games $ 500 for the coverall
Level 3 - $10 pays $150 for regular games $ 750 for the coverall
Level 4 - $14 pays $200 for regular games $1000 for the coverall

2) The session being played - some are double/triple pay, i.e some games pay double, some pay triple,
some sessions have guaranteed $1,000 coverall no matter what level card you play, etc.

In addition to the regular games there is generally at least 1 extra "special" game with the possibilty of a
larger - $25,000 to > $100,000 prize depending on where you play.

All halls have a requirement that you play minimally at least one level 1 card. So Bingo can
cost you from $4 up to over $100 per session depending on the level and number of cards
you play. You would need to visit a Bingo hall to get more details about that Bingo hall's
price and playout structures.

You can also either play paper where you mark the numbers as they are called with a dauber
or you can play an electronic machine where the numbers are automatically marked as they are called.
The machines cost a little more but generally have specials for a reasonable amount ($15-$20)
But if there are only 3 people in the room, each playing a $4 level-1 card the casino is only pulling in $12. Yet the prize is $25. Doesn't the casino lose money?
Why would you play in a crowded bingo session rather than an empty one?
Stu
Why indeed! Because if your luck is like mine it doesn't matter if there are 3 or 300 in the room!

And yes, they probably do lose money sometimes, but overall they must be raking it in or they
wouldn't continue to offer it.
