Hi Everyone
Newbie here so maybe I'm not understanding. I recently made a reservation on vegas.com for The Encore(Aug.31-Sept.3) I took advantage of their Best Rate Guarantee. Below is the response from vegas.com
We've reviewed your VEGAS.com Best Vegas Rate Guarantee claim alert and found that it does qualify for the guarantee.
The quoted rate from the competing website was $365.00. In this case, the VEGAS.com rate of $487.00 did not meet or beat the competing rate. (Both rates are listed without taxes and fees.)
Therefore, we will honor the competing rate and give you double the difference (up to $150), resulting in a refund of $150.00 -- assuring that you receive the best Vegas rate available at the time of your booking.
My credit card will billed $487+$49.68 tax. From my understanding, I should have been billed $365+tax - $150. When I called to inquire I was told the rate would be $487+tax - $150. I spoke with multiple CSR who all agreed the rate is $487+tax - $150 even with the above email in front of them. Is there something I'm not understanding about Vegas.com BRG?
