Boyd Gaming upgrades its B Connected loyalty club program

I use my accumulated points for food. They only charge your points 55% of the meal charge. I thus do not withdraw this for cash.are you going to lose this at end of each year if not used. Or can I withdraw residual in cash. Casino’s do not really want  vp play. This is obvious at 4Queens. I was essentially told this by host. You have to buy a room and you might get free room or 1/2 price. Part of problem is more people are playing off the strip due to marked increase in payback. They thus don’t need video poker players as much.

This is dissapointing news! I love video poker!

Sure,I can play BJ or craps,but it's a different game,altogether.

Maybe I just prefer to try to win at a game that is just one on one.

Me againts a machine.Well, there is a bit of skill involved.

I was going to go with the 4 Queens, after this Boyd's horse crap.......!(Show angry face, here)

Maybe the Plaza.

It may be the same in all of down town, soon.

I'll assume that the 4 Queens is still a hold out on the NO resort fees,so far.

I can offer them my 2K worth of play.

Besides,Magnolia's(4 Q) is a great place to eat at a great price.Try the root beer.

VP at the Fremont and the D is not so great.

9/6  VP at the MSS is fine and they offer *comp* beers.

My wife and I have enjoyed the free rooms offered for many years.  It enabled us to spend at least a week each trip from Florida as we would get some nights free and pay for a few more nights.  After re-reading the new "benefits" of each level, I can see that they have removed all free room offers to Sapphire players.  We would play mostly video poker for 6-8 hours a day while staying at Sam's.  I believe that Boyd got their money back for the  three free nights lodging.  We will be looking at ACE, Boulder Station, even Fiesta for some good offers of rooms.  If Boyd Gaming no longer is interested in us..........why keep funding them ??

I don't know who is making the decisions for Boyd Gaming, but apparently not someone who did well on any IQ tests.

Sapphire gets same offers as before??? Only change is the tier numbers. They added in big wig tiers that get people cruises and stuff. Of no interest to most players, including the whales

The point is, even a "free cruise" is far from being free at all, and besides...who in the world has time to take additional 10 days or 2 weeks for a cruise that starts somewhere by the sea and gets you back some time later and from there you must fly back home where you came from  It may be something for people that gamble all year through and got nothing to do and do it as a little change, but for the regular local gambler or tourists visiting Las Vegas such a cruise is not actually an incentive to gamble more. Instead, what we people want is a nice room comped (based on show account activity in the past), some meals and good gaming. It's all that it takes. Even the weekly plastic gifts from the Far East to us are mostly worthless because we can't carry back all that stuff in our suitcase to to limited space and supercharged overweight baggage fees. Since it takes too many tier points that can't impossibly be achieved by regular videopoker play in a reasonnable time of play, this  gift "issue" is out of question.
