Not any different, really, than having to gamble $600,000 to reach Plutonium or whatever.

There is no indication in recent CET history ( at least since the El Dorado merger) that any new potential program option changes will be  customer or player friendly. It will all be about CET margins, efficiencies, and ultimately net revenues with nil concern for their customer base.

Kind of hilarious when you think about it. They used to give you goodies for playing a whole bunch and losing your ass. Now, they want to eliminate the playing part. Less wear and tear on the slot machines. Eliminates the possibility of someone accidentally winning something.

Next, they'll be offering a special promo involving required patron handcuffing to the Big Wheel and/or Keno games ( aka highest house edge factor games) for a minimum period time requirement ( say..3 successive hours) with required minimum wager totals ($1500 midweek/ $2500 on weekends?). The payback will be customer's choice of a new age artificial intelligence toaster,  an old school hot plate,  and/or a wife whistle along with watered down umbrella drinks ( 3 drink max during the promo participation period). Hosts will dispense hotel size amenity tubes ( 1/50th of an ounce.) of A & D Ointment to all participants ( for wrist chafing purposes).

"Meaningful additional benefits" takes me back to when Diamond was the highest tier.  I got a similar survey which included a similar phrase... whether more perks would make me more loyal to Caesars.  I was naive enough to think it meant "keep playing, stay Diamond and you'll get more."  Of course I answered yes.  WRONG.  It wasn't long afterwards that here came Seven Stars.  Later Diamond Plus and Diamond Elite.  It did clue me in a little better, the psychology of marketing.

I hope people do not signal approval of paying a fee for higher tier anywhere.  We already pay enough.

Amen, this is all about "how can we screw the customer while giving even less".  Eldorado was viewed as "tight" before the acquition of Caesars; now, they have a new definition to the word.

This is great. I just joined Caesars Rewards through Comenity Bank after doing my due diligence of putting - and paying off the balance with this interest rate - at least $1,000 in the first whatever days.

So, I'm Platinum. What does that mean for a low end gambler - $500 over two nights - who goes to Louisiana twice a year and Vegas once a year?

I believe I get free valet / self parking now, which given post pandemic issues in Vegas - like charging for parking - is pretty nice.

Is that about the best benefit? I'm thinking this card might not be for me. There seems to be a good deal of gaslighting going on.

Thanks in advance.

That's just it...you have to earn your "Tier" every year or you go back to baseline, or whatever you ended up by Dec. 31 the previous year, so you are tempted to return more often to earn the points to keep the tier.

I s'pose if you are going to gamble a certain amount/frequency ANYWAY (not more) it doesn't hurt to have the few freebies e.g. parking, some Free Play, shorter line at the cage, etc.  Basically you wait for the offers to come in the mail/email for comped nights, a little Free Play, a little Resort Credit (food comps).  Be sure they have your correct addresses/snail and email.

What does that mean? Short answer--not shit. The free parking is the only tangible benefit, plus whatever crumbs they may throw your way, like room discounts and such (you'll still be paying a resort fee). The next level up--Diamond--gives you a resort fee exemption, albeit with a very limited number of nights (three per quarter, last time I checked). And whatever level you earn goes poof on Dec. 31.

Caesars has terrible gambling and extremely (unbelievably) high prices for everything. It's not only not worth it to stay/play there, it's an insult to your intelligence AND your wallet. Stay away. A plague on all their houses. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest their underwear. Bleah! Feh! Polevault vomiting (performed in a parabola)!
