Charge for Parking

6 months!!
OK Back to buses and taxis
if I were CET I would be happy to let them park for free and hope they drop some of their money in the casino before they get to their MGM destination. in fact, I would advertise the free parking. a parked car may fetch $10, but if that car has 2 3 or 4 passengers, you could gain a lot more than that if they stop to gamble, eat, or drink. should be a no-brainer for CET.
If you go to one MGM property to shop, drive to another MGM property to eat, then drive to another MGM property to see a show will you have to pay three parking fees? Or, will you get something like a parking transfer, one fee pay takes care of all day?

My understanding of MGMs "pay to park" is because of the new sports arena that is being built. Their whole parking structure would be filled with people attending sporting events and wanting to park for free.
The only thing left that is free is the drinks...Could that be next?
You have to pay for drinks at the casinos in Maine. Maybe Nevada could be next.
I usually visit a couple of times a year (have family in Vegas) but we do like to stay on the strip to do a tourist trip. This last time, we were going to stay at NYNY and found a great room rate...but then with all the extra taxes, resort fee, and on top of that, if I wanted two adjoining rooms (I have kids) the taxes and fees were higher than my room fees. Decided to stay with my relatives. We still went down to the strip several times, but if I am paying to park, going to rethink that and do more local trips. It's not that I can't pay $10 to park, it's just that I don't want to. My guess is that the amount of business they lose will be small compared to the money they make. I'll still visit the strip but the parking is going to be figured into that.
Vegas attracts hundreds of thousands of new visitors each year. In three or four years, free parking will be a distant memory for most and something millions of "veteran" Vegas vacationers have never experienced. Soon it will be part of the legend of great Vegas was when The Boys ran things.
