Charging an extra $5 for Canadian members

I recently questioned why you charge $5 usd more for Canadian members (online newsletter) and the lady on the phone said that's what the shipping guy said to charge.

Imagine my surprise when my coupon book arrived US Postal Service, with $1.82 usd postage on the envelope.  I don't know how much postage you pay to mail to a US address but $5.00 usd extra for Cdn members is a rip off pure and simple.

It really annoyed me to the point where you shafted me this year, but you lost me as a member for years in the future.

No reply from Las Vegas Advisor.......enough said...........gouge the Canadians

I don't think Canadians are singled out.  The LVA charge for USA MRB mailings is $3.50, so $5 is only $1.50 more.  No doubt the postage is more to Canada than for domestic.  For both countries they charge significantly more than the cost of the postage.  Don't feel singled out!  ;-)    This is one reason why I like to use the pick up at the LVA office option.

Really? You're complaining because of a shipping charge that you accepted in lieu of using the available pick-up option to avoid it? We haven't raised the price since 1992 and the MRB is worth 10 times what you pay in value and that's being shafted? Please return your MRB and we will issue a full refund.

There's just no pleasing some people! Good reply Anthony.

I'm stopping in to shake your hand on my next trip, Anthony. Whoever said "the customer is always right" must have been stupid, drunk, or both...

So John, you don't expect there to be any fee for the envelope, packaging the booklet and getting it to the USPS? As mentioned, there is a free option available as well.
