cheap liquor

I was just wondering who has the best prices on liquor, located near the strip.

On our last visit to Vegas, after a tip on these boards, we went to orleans and found a liquor store, with prices even cheaper than Wisconsin..does anyone know if this is still the case?
You can also try Gold Coast. In the past they had same prices as Orleans and you can take a shuttle to the Rio. Gold Cost just didn't have as large a selection.
When I pick people up at the airport and they ask to be taken to a liquor store, I always suggest CVS (across the street from Hard Rock on Paradise). The Liquor stores around the airport have high prices for obvious reasons, but CVS has CVS prices, plus this one has just about anything you would need for your trip including food.

Thanks Sandy and lhfred.

I never considered Gold Coast. Makes sense, that both casinos are Boyd.

I'm not sure what CVS prices are like, but in Wisconsin, the drugstores that do carry liquor are amonst the highest priced of any stores.

Keep in mind that if you have a players card with Boyd-Bconnected, you'll also get your discount on what you purchase. I'm ruby and it covered the taxes. Just be sure you know your pin number. I should have used the wifes card as she is sapphire.
Thanks JOKARE. I will remember to use that.
usually when I am there, a buddy of mine from Kingman AZ meets me there and we stop at a Von's or some type of large grocery store for our needs since he has a loyalty card ?
but i have also went in on my own and they just give me the loyalty disc, as an example " $30.00 for a 1.75 Bl Velvet downtown, $12.99 to $14.99 at a larger outlet, almost the price
of a cab if needed.
We're back from Vegas...I paid 38.99 plus tax for a 1.75 ltr bottle of Captain Morgan at Walgreens, could've saved a few dollars from buying it at ABC Stores...seen it priced as high as 46.00 at some places.

But on day two, we visited GoldCoast and Orleans...and at both places the bottle was priced at 23.99...and Orleans even gave me 40 cents off that price with their regular standard players card.

So if anyone is seeking cheap liquor in Vegas, both of these casinos are the place to go.
Isn't Vegas great!! Nice
