Cheapest trip yet.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all. Just finished booking our 17th & cheapest yet trip to Vegas. We come from a small island called Guernsey ( Literary potato peel pie society fame) so first we have to take a flight to Gatwick ( London ), overnight stay at Hilton gatwick including breakfast. Then Virgin atlantic to Vegas non stop (economy out, premium economy back. 13 nights in Vegas, 4 at Ballys comped, 5 at Four Queens $170 and back to strip with 4 nights at Imperial Palace comped. And yes i,v heard all the things about I.P. but we have stayed there 5 or 6 times for a few nights and never had a bad room yet. All this for under £800 each (about $1230) We are low rollers, penny slots and i sometimes play $5 Let it ride. I read on some of these threads bad things about Harrahs but for us low rollers to get comped rooms is fantastic. Roll on March and back to Vegas
Well done and I hope that you enjoy your trip.

Wow, that must be a loooong flight!

I live on the east coast of the United States (New Hampshire) and it takes me about 5 hours to get to Vegas, When I get there I have to take ibuprophen to loosen up and I still just about have to crawl off the plane. Those seats just are not made for a big guy.

I have stayed at all three of the hotels that you are staying at and although none are my favorite, I wouldnt hesitate staying in anyone of them. One quick bit of advice about the four queens. They have a stage in between them and the fitzegeralds that plays redicously loud music (on week ends anyway)I dont recommend staying in rooms right beside the stage.

Good luck weggie
HI Weggie we have stayed at Four Queens the last 5 years and always ask for a room away from the Fremont street and have never had noise problems. The flight is about 10-11 hours and is the worst part of the trip, but knowing Vegas is on the end of it makes up for it

Well Tour, have a great trip!

I have also found minimal noise when I've stayed at Four Queens in the tower away from Fremont Street and above the Fremont Street "Viva Vision" (the night-time lights and music show) screen.
