Just booked our Christmas 2012 trip.
11 nights - 6 Laughlin, 5 Downtown Vegas - incl. New Year.
Last year I was too late to get decent flights, so jumped in early this year.

Yep, you are early. 10months is a long time to look forward to your trip.

The factory I work for shutsdown over the Christmas holidays (maintenance shutdown), so I tend to book early for that time also.

That said, I would talk about it every day between now and then ! It is just one more reason to get out of bed for the next ten months!

I used to go once in the spring, once in the summer and once during christmas, then the wife want to spend christmas with the family and we moved the christmas date to November. Then it's too cold, so we moved it back to October, now, it's April for 8 days, June, for 8 days, and Sept for 8 days, so I feel your pain. I have to wait 7 months, from Sept to April for our next trip. We use to stay 1 night in Laughlin, but no more.

7 months and 10 months are nothing. Try waiting 12 MONTHS We go for a week every September(usually the last week). It's VERY PAINFULL. I wait 9,250 hours in between each trip. That reminds me of the song THE WAITING IS THE HARDEST PART. That is so true. I would love to go more often but we can't, at least at this present time. I only have 7 more months to wait too or about 5500 hours.
