Is Steve Stevens legit? He and his company take 50% of winning sports bets while the client loses all on losing bets. Interesting show though.

I have only watched one show but found it interesting enough to set it on my DVR as a series. Unless he has like a 99% winning percentage, I don't think its worth it

There is plenty of information online about the fact that this guy is a former con who was dropped into the show for entertainment value...he has no sports betting history and you should be able to tell, after about five minutes of the show, that the whole thing is a farce. It is representative of the tout industry in general and very entertaining.

All you have to do when thinking about actually paying one of these guys is ask yourself the question if they were so great at picking winners, why wouldn't they just add more money to their own winning bets, pocket those dollars and then forget about selling to others.

For Stevens, if you bet $1000 a game and he picks 10 winners out of 15 (67%), congrats because you just broke even.

Worth watching if nothing else on and need a little Vegas imagery on a dull evening.

No question he is entertaining. He could sell used cars, or anything else, though maybe not without a camera crew, lighting, hair and makeup, script, etc.

He would be great for TV commercials. "Folks, you can't afford to miss Pete's Ford/Chevy/Honda/GM/ Big Fourth of July Blowout!!!!!!!! Come on down today!!!"

No one in their right mind would pay 50%. On a $100 bet, you are wagering $110 to win $50! Not a good investment.
