Coins

Does anyone know which casinos will take coins for conversion into cash without charging a fee?

Not many do it for free, but I was shocked a few weeks ago when we were at Green Valley Ranch when they said no problem when I asked to turn loose coin in at the main cashier. No charge.

I believe I read somewhere, probably LVA, that the El Cortez does....or did.  Can anyone confirm that?

Coinstar lets you exchange coin for gift cards to Outback(Bonefish Grill, Carrabbas) and Lowe's with no vig.

I just roll them up and take them to the bank for deposit into my checking account. Then I step outside to the ATM and withdraw bills.  have never had them say "no".

That's what I do as well, but this thread was about casinos, if any, that will convert rolled coins into cash.

Seems like yesterday when, during the covid pandemic, the casinos were begging for any and all to bring them coins. Now the casinos want and do gouge anyone who wishes to exchange coins for paper currency.

No rolling or separating coin at coinstar.  But gift cards are the only play.  Cash you lose 11%.
