Coming back after 3 1/2 years!

You are right!  It is very loud until 2:00 a.m. on Fremont.  Better pack my earplugs!!!

Will check out TI.  Haven't stayed there for years. Back when it was kid friendly!!

If you're staying at the 4Q, there's a huge difference between the noise levels in the various locations; the North Tower is louder than the South Tower and your room in either tower will either be facing toward or away from the FSE. South Tower away-facing rooms, you barely hear it.

No place on the Strip will have even remotely comparable prices, and...you'll be stuck on the Strip, with its awful gambling and hyper-expensive food.

Thanks for the information, Kevin.  I like the 4Q.  It's comfortable, the staff are friendly, and I like Magnolia's.

In the past few years, I mostly stayed Downtown. Always had free rooms and no resort fee.

Never really had to pay for food, and lots of choices.  The slots seemed much looser than the Strip.  There is always free entertainment, and an easy trip to the North Outlet Mall.

What more can one ask for??

Miles to memories you tube video shows LV stats that .25 slots are suprisingly close to the strip.  I assume the stats didn't factor in vp which is better downtown.

I recomend the Mob Museum since you are staying downtown.  Excellent & improved over the last few years.  The Natural History Museum - a short cab ride is also pretty good.

I did a guided tour of the Mob Museum 4 years ago and and it was very good.  I'm don't believe it would be as good for most on a self tour.

I haven't  been to the Mob Museum. Thanks for the information!

Their website says you need a group of 10 for a guided tour.

So excited!  Just booked 3 Vegas trips from Victoria, B.C. Canada.

October, next February and April 2024.  Direct flights are starting up again!

It's been a long time. Can't wait!

When will Las Vegas rename itself as Vancouver Canucksville?

In spite of what kevin says there are bargains.  Try Southpoint, good gambling, food & shows.

@Tom Wanna bet? Canada has swealtering heat and minimal rain during the last few years and wildfires during the summer. Winters can be either extreme cold, rainy, or dry. This is the new normal. Februaru is a terrible month to go to Vegas. It's still very cold.

@Barbara Krull

Without the buffets, Las Vegas has become place where only the classists/privileged (rich) can flex their digital wallets or where you can blow your savings without a care. Then again, if you can afford booking three trips including air and hotel. we all know which category you belong too. Is Dear Bonnie coming with you by chance 😉

@Kevin Lewis Some people's idea of fun is blowing money away or having their rental vehicle breakdown on the interstate. Lol. Do you have a crystal ball when you say @Barbara Krull will have fun. Or is it just toxic positivity?

Reno is the Canadian gambling destination, at least Western Canada. That said, air service between Calgary or Vancouver and Reno is sparse.

Yes, it is sparse.  I have been on the 7-day bus trips to Reno, and driven down a couple of times in the past.

Flights to Reno are expensive, and so is gas now.

I have return airfare direct from Victoria to Las Vegas for 2 of the trips for less than $200. And staying at the 4Q is pretty reasonable.

February in Las Vegas will probably be warmer than Southern B.C.

Anyway, I haven't been off Vancouver Island since January, 2020, so it's time for a trip!!

Yes, we have hundreds of fires burning in B.C. now.  There is extreme drought on the Island.
