construction at the Imperial Palace

Hi anyone have information or pictures of the construction at Imperial Palace.

One of the hosts has posted pictures on fb. The stores that were between IP and Harrahs are now gone. You can see the Forum Shops now. With O'Sheas closing April 30, I understand it will come down in a hurry. They are completely remodeling the casino floor at IP, moving some things to Rockhouse bldg.

Could you please post the site address so we can see the pictures?

Can you still walk from Harrah's toward the Flamingo, through the Carnival Court, past the IP, etc?

Does the loud music from the Carnival Court still go on every night?

Saw your post on Friday, took a few pics on Saturday for you. Meant to upload them last night, but didn't get to it.

Not much to see, other than from Carnival Court, and from the drive in back of IP where they're doing a bunch of dirt work in the lot. There is no demolition activity inside of IP at this point that I could see.

For some bizarre reason, Harrah's decided to comp my wife and I a room on a busy weekend. Not sure why, as we rarely play at Harrah's. Anyway, we booked a room and decided to play tourist for a night. So, compliments of IP, here's a view from a room on the 14th floor (most of the dirt work is south of the view, towards Flamingo:



And for TonyCC, yes, you can still access Carnival Court, and they still have bands playing. The only difference is that the businesses and kiosks on the south side of the court have been removed, and the north side of IP is blocked off for construction.
