Corona Virus and smoking

I wish somehow that with the new Virus precautions that smoking wouldn't be allowed in the Casinos forever.  I can't visionalize someone removing their mask to smoke. How about that smoke can carry the virus droplets throughout the Casino thus making it a health hazard. It would make smoking a double hazard with Nicotine and Covid-19.  The smokers cough will be looked on with suspicion. I will admit I dislike smoking with a passion.

I said this a little while back.  They could do it NOW, their one and only opportunity.  No smoking, no kids.  Well, maybe I just said no kids.  Each and every casino would have to sign on and stick to it (as in ignore complaints) for it to work.  So many more people have quit smoking than 20 years ago.  Both could work.  How pleasant it would be, especially  no kids.

We are in a wait and see here in Oklahoma..Casinos locally are opening with smoking, suggesting to Patrons to wear Masks and gloves and hand sanitizers.  I think we will wait till July to see whether it creates Hot Spots for the Virus.  Heck in the meantime we have two contractors working on our house with upgrades and this week upgrading our appliances. Who knew we had that much money, just staying away.

I was a smoker for over 40 years. Quitting is one of the many accomplishment in my lifetime. Now is the time to outlaw smoking in all Casinos. I am in agreement with you Rocky Kollmeyer. I will not  be returning to any Casinos real soon. I am going to wait and see if any HOTSPOTS occur or if we have a resurgence of spreading. Might have to wait for heard immunity or a vaccine.

I wonder if we see smoking areas in the casinos, much like we see a non-smoking area in many of the Indian casinos here in California.  The nice thing about the partitions you see between slot machines in many of the videos/pictures that have been posted, is that the smoke will not go right in your face, but actually has to go up and over the partition, if they still allow smoking.

And if they maximixe their ventilation systems.   I envision cig smoke clouding those plexiglass partitions between machines.   Hope I'm wrong!
