COVID rules FAQ

Can folks help me in finding a general FAQ on the COVID rules in place in the casino.  Things like: do you have to wear a mask while gambling; is there drink service; how are they social distancing the video poker machines; etc. etc.

Thanks so much, would like to visit in October if it could be an enjoyable trip.

Try the web pages of casinos you are considering.  Some have Covid-19 links at top of their web page where they detail their mask rules, sanitizing, plastic or plexiglas barriers between machines, blocking of machines for distance, player limites at tables, drink service, etc.

Pretty much count on wearing mask or face covering at all times except while drinking a drink, eating or smoking.

There are some trip reports sprinkled through the forums.  Most say they enjoyed their casino time despite the limitations.

Terrific report, Jennifer, just what is needed, first hand info.   Interesting that you were offered wine or beer as well as water on the return flight.  I'm not a good water drinker, need at least coffee or soda, wine would do as well as a gin & tonic!  I'm guessing the airlines are a long way from mixing drinks for us again.

Awesome report on your trip. You are obviously a "seasoned traveller" to Vegas.

My wife and I usually visit once a year but due to this Covid thing she is reluctant to go, however I am currently looking to travel to Vegas in Sept (from Richmond, VA) but I am now hoping your report will convince her that it is safe..We will see.

I think the air flight is the most concerning as it is a 5+ hours non-stop (or one stop) flight but hopefully the airlines have sorted that out by now.

Candy - I brought soda with me that I bought in the airport in anticipation that it would not be available.   I am not sure why they can give you bottles of beer and not soda.  Just seems odd to me.
