I used to visit 3-4 times a year. but with the combo of resort fees and high airfare I now only visit 1-2 times a year. years ago the marketing geniuses realized that u can lure gamblers with free or cheap hotels rooms / airfare and they will come and spend (lose) their money in the casino. but now if want to go I have to cut into my gambling budget just to get there and have basic lodging. there is no incentive. they must prefer that I spend my gambling budget at the casinos in my state. and yes, I know I'm wasting my time complaining because the hotels are close enuf to capacity that they are satisfied.
