Dallas/Vegas great American Airlines airfares

I posted this in the "Transportation" section too, but if you're flying DFW/LAS, now is the time to buy. The rates have been $380 lately, but I just got an alert for $214 for my dates in May. Check it out SOON. Posted at 11:15pm Central Standard Time.

I booked a trip on Saturday. Got roundtrip airfare for two of us for 214 plus tax. For both of us it was 470 total price. By using comped rooms I feel like I am getting a bargain! Today US Airways is matching American's fares.

Where are you getting these alerts? We fly out of DFW also. We already have our trip booked for Oct 29-Nov 5 through USAir but I would take a trip this summer if the price was right.

I'm signed up with American Airlines Deal Finder. It lets you put in your trip, dates and the amount you want to pay. It'll alert you when they find it.

I'm also signed up for Southwest Ding fare (have yet to see a ding fare for Dallas/Las Vegas).

I'm also signed up on Airfare Watchdog - I got their alert about the $214 fare a full 24 hours after American notified me.

That's great!! In Chicago, Southwest is the cheapest and they are outrageous! $440 roundtrip for 1.

Just a year ago, the price was around $250
