Dancing

Where would be a nice place to take my wife dancing? 50's- 60's music is our generation.. Got any suggestion? Thanks.
I like Toby Keith's Bar and Grill in Harrahs. It is mostly country dancing, however. (Don't do line dancing!!)
Thanks John in Dallas. I guess not to many husbands take there wifes dancing.
50s and 60s dancing will be hard to find for dancing in Las Vegas.
I was at the lounge at the Venetian last month and they had a cover group playing 70s and 80s.Have not seen anything older than that

Ballys used to have aMotown group in the Go Lounge, its free. Gets crowded weekends though.
The current band plays all ages but more Top 40 stuff.

Whatever happened to Cook E. Jar and the Crumbs? He was a good lounge act for songs of that era. I last saw him at the MGM.
There is usually a motown style group at Bally's. Good music, nice crowd, and a dance floor.

Joy
Cook E Jar split with Joe Banana and his Bunch, music with appeal!!
