Hey folks, I didn't want to start a new thread (since I'm still a newb), so I figured I would ask a similar question with a different spin.
I want to go see a live band and dance. I don't care much about the music, as long as you can dance to it. I don't want to go to a club, but I was wondering if there were any places where the average age of patrons was below 40 (I'm in my late 20s) with a lot of them dancing to a decent band. 80s, top 40, etc. Music doesn't matter much. Just looking for a younger crowd, live music and dancing. Does that even exist?
If not, then I guess we have two other options.
1) Which bar/lounge with a live band has the most happenin' dance floor? If I can't find one filled with young whippersnappers, at least tell me which one has the most crowded dance floor. Type of music doesn't matter much.
2)What Bar/Club/Lounge has a good amount of young people dancing to a DJ that doesn't think he's God's gift to mixing, aka, one that just plays music? No velvet rope, no line, no go-go dancers, no 8 dollar beers, just a fairly crowed place to drink and dance to today's music with a college-aged-to-late-20s crowd. I assume a place like this would not be located in a resort/casino.
