Do I have enough time to make it?

My plane is scheduled to land in las Vegas at 2:10 PM, Sunday February 3rd--Superbowl Sunday. The superbowl is scheduled to kick off at 3:30PM Pacific Time (las Vegas time).

Question, Do I have time to land, get my baggage, take the shuttle to the car rental facility (advantage rent a car), drive to the Monte Carlo and and make a sports bet?

Patriots over the 49ers (I am writing this while the championship game is in progress)

or should I drive to the nearest casino and make my bet?? Which would be???

Thanks for any advice weggie
Pack lighter so you don't have to check a bag. Getting a rental car can take a while also. And don't forget that the line at the sports book will be long. I think your odds of getting your bet in on time is very slim. South Point is probably the closest and the quickest to get to from the car rental facility.
as you probably are aware, it's the Ravens vs. the 49ers.
Carry hand luggage only and use Dollar Express - you get the car in under a minute - and I think you will make it easily.
Check in baggage and don't use Express? - I would lay odds that you don't make it. Checked baggage alone can take an extra 30 minutes.
My wife and I have learned to pack for 12 days Vegas, fresh clothes every day (except jeans/slacks - 2 pair packed) with hand luggage only.

You will be cutting it close. The lines the last hour prior to kickoff can be impressive with all of the proposition bets.
Signing up for the rental car club will allow you to bypass the lines at the rental facility. Alamo/National/Hertz all do this....I'm sure there are others too.

Dont fight with the massive crowds that are sure to be cramping the big sportsbooks on the strip. Go to a smaller venue...Tuscany, Ellis Island come to mind. You can park and be at the sportsbook counter in less than a minute. I doubt you'll be fighting any big lines at either one.
If time gets tight, place your bet at Buffalo Wild Wings, 7430 South Las Vegas Boulevard. It's probably the closest book to the rental car center, has easy strip mall parking, and is equally convenient for collecting when you return your car.
Just consider it the first thing you gamble on when you get to Vegas--weather you make there in time or not.
Carry on, skip the rental, grab a cab to the nearest book. Rent the car later.

That's after your prayers for the flight to be on time are answered, of course.

Very good information... now which casino would be the closest to the airport (not using the tunnel) to stop and make a bet?
