Do you prefer to arrive late or early?

I'm an early bird, also. No crowds, less chance of a delayed flight. Love starting out the vacation with a nice lunch in Vegas.
We like the early morning flights, living in Ohio. We leave at 8:45am and get there at 10:10am. That gives us a whole day there.
We usually get our room eat lunch then gamble for a while. Eat dinner gamble a little more, then get to bed and start vacation in the morning.
We usually do the best of both worlds....We leave early and beat the rush, check our luggage in if our hotel isn't ready and just take it easy the first day. We have almost always then flew out on the way home at night to allow you a good view of the lights at night on the strip...
We live in Texas. We prefer to take an early flight(6:30 am or 7:30 am.) If the room is not ready upon arrival we simply check our bags with the Bellman and return to the frontdesk a couple of hours later after enjoying breakfast and a leisurely tour of the casino.

i live in oklahoma and leave whenever. It goes by what is the cheapest flight lol.
Arriving from Maine, we like the early flights. Gives us almost a whole day to play before we pass out from exhaustion (mentally we're still on Eastern Time). We love leaving at night so that again, we get the whole day to play and still have the advantage of seeing the city at night from the air. It's also easier to sleep on a red eye and sleep makes the flight go faster. k
No strong preference here; they each have their pros and cons.

If I arrive in the morning, I don't spend the day thinking about my trip and I potentially maximize my first day there. However, I take a chance that the room isn't ready and I'm limited in what I can do until I can fully unpack. That usually means a trip to the casino... with resulting negative effects on the bankroll (usually).

If I arrive in the afternoon, the room is probably ready and there's still time to enjoy it. But the lines are the longest then.

If I arrive in the evening, I can save the vacation day at work and possibly save some $$$ that I would have thrown away had I arrived earlier. But there are limits on what else there is left to do in the day and the best rooms may all be handed out.
Any time is a good time to arrive at LAS!
We do both, but we prefer the evening flights. Coming from the eastern time zone, our preferred playing time is 5-10am. We are not big on crowds, and at 5am it is pretty much just us and the cleaning folks on the casino floor!
There is only one nonstop from memphis. It arrives around 10:40 AM. I prefer to arive early. My room is ready more often than not. If not, I usually go have lunch (because 11:30 in Vegas is 1:30 at home) and maybe play a tiny bit until my room is ready.

The only times I have a problem not being able to unpack right after I get in is if it was cold at home that morning and I am dressed to heavy for Vegas.
