Do you prefer to arrive late or early?

Always enjoy early. So we start the day with breakfast in Las Vegas getting there usually at 8:30AM. DJH

More often than not, I work a full day and then go straight to the airport. I come from the east coast (Boston), so I land around 10:30-11:00PM. I take a brief walk around when I arrive at the hotel, but usually right to bed after that for an early start to the next day.

Arrive early/leaving late late.

At JFK, the chances of being delayed with the first flight is nil.
Love arriving at 10:30 am Vegas time.

I have NEVER not gotten a readied room...

I took a late flight ONCE/ never again.
Suppose to leave at 6pm
It was delayed for several mechanical reasons, delayed again.. and again... then they decided to give us another plane that was coming in from over seas- Customs had to sniff out the plane first.. I got in at 2am (5 am my east coast) time. I was beyond freaked out and over-tired.

Love the red-eye to home cuz i get the whole day and it's the cheapest flight price. The red eye is the only time I can sleep on a flight due to burning the candle at both ends night/day after days in Vegas.
It's also the best chance of getting bumped and getting a voucher for another trip.

My husband calls my Vegas scheduling the "Marine Plan" First in, last out. I want to maximize every minute I have in Vegas because as soon as I arrive I'm already panicking about having to leave! I actually feel like I have a big countdown clock in my head.

Living in pittsburgh I like an early flight in and a red eye home.

I typically get the late flights as I have someone drop me off at the airport, coming back I get the early ones. Maybe the next trip I can switch things up a bit.

Yes, I also usually take the red eye home. So it is normally las flights both ways.

i wish this were my answer. every every every time i leave from work, i get super delayed and vow "next time im waiting until the next morning!" and yet i never do it.

First in, first out for us. Like to get there early, no problems getting a car. Came late once, what a disaster. Like to get home early too. Easier time adjusting to flying back east for us.

I live in NY and took the latter flights 8 or 9 pm and arrived late--got the car and checked-in, and went to sleep and started fresh the next day. I didn't lose an extra day of work. Unfortuantely the last 3 years, JFK had severe delays everytime I took the late flight--I kept getting in at like 2 am. So now, I take the first flight out in the morning and it has been great. Just need to nap since I have to get up at 4 am to get to the airport.
