Double booking through same property - different hotel?

Ok - I am going to be staying at Bally's through a comped room that my Host set up for me.

My question is - if I were to use a coupon for 3 free nights from my Total Rewards say at Imperial Palace or Harrah's would they know that I'm "double booking"? I have a friend going out the same time that i wanted to get the room for. I'd check them but dont wan't to cause myself a problem with the host.

Their online booking system is pretty sophisticated and will probably know that you are trying to double book. If this were me, I'd ask the host if s/he could book the second room complimentary for a friend or at least get a discounted friends and family rate.

Thanks for the info - I wasn't sure if each hotel had its own booking system. I know the casino's are all connected but wasn't sure on the hotels...


I will do that - She's actually already agreed to comp a room for my brother/sis in-law and another friend. If the friend whom i've already gotten a room for decides to back out then i'll have that room switched but i'll try asking for the discount...
