Hey KarenTN, when I lived in MS, I went to Tunica alot and my favorite place to stay was Sheraton-great rooms with jacuzzi in room. Now, it has been since 2001 that I was last there, but the little restaurant At Sheraton right past the gift shops and before the spa had fantastic food. I used to get full weekend comps there, room, food, it was great. The steak house upstairs was very good also. Never ate at Horseshoe but gambled there and saw a few shows there. The Goldstrike buffet was real good and their rooms were nice, also. Don't eat at Isle of Capri (if it is still even there).

Mrs chief and I will be there april 21 staying at the mirage....second trip this year....I would love to go four times even told the mrs. that we could cut back on local trips. Think she might agree....if no looooook out solo special!

WOW, I can't believe that I have 19 days till VEGAS. I so need to get away.....



We have had such a rough week.....my little sister lost her baby girl on Fri., Feb. 22nd at 25 weeks gestation. Brinlee was 1 lb. 12 oz and was 16 inches. She was stillborn. The pain that I feel for my sister and her husband is so great that words just can't express it. We all got to hold the baby and tell her how much we love her and say goodbye, but I have really had a hard time with this. My sister is so much stronger than I am!! She's the one who keeps telling everyone it is going to be OK. I just wanted to share this with my Vegas "family". I don't post all of the time, but I lurk almost everyday.

My sister and I went to Vegas back in October and she found out she was pregnant 2 days after we got back. Vegas is one of the things we both love to talk about! This site cheers me up so much!!!

Thanks for listening to me ramble on, It helps ease the pain when I can talk about it.

It is always so sad when that happens. Mrs Chief's sister lost her baby in December at 20 weeks. It really hurts and is hard for a young couple to have to go through that type of loss.

I can't stand it --- 10 days!!!

The bad news is my dad is in the hospital and I will have to stay if things turn bad. BUT, the good news is he's been getting better each day...has some slips, but comes back -- he's a fighter. Good thoughts please...we need a break.

Got married and January and just moved into our new house this week (it's a tragic mess right now)...we're exhausted and looking forward to our Vegas break!
