Double Digits!!!!!

i am so happy to be in this thread.

here is how it happened:

i checked airfare like i randomly do
then i BOOKED IT IMMEDIATELY without second guessing myself and reminding myself that "oh but you wanted to see other places......"

and now i am so happy.

no buyers remorse

after my trip that i leave for in 21 days, it will probably be thanksgiving or even a couple of weeks later before i see vegas again

unless i go in mid August, which would mean I'd be going twice before your next trip. That wouldn't be right, would it?

karen, i havent been to vegas since the first week of january. how many trips have you taken so far? i think you might have done three plus the one upcoming one?

whats one more?

(i am trying to pretend i am not bothered by this but inside i am seething with jealousy)

ps - im also not going for thanksgiving no matter what.

christmas though, thats a two week possibility.

No, the upcoming trip will only be my third this year. If I had already been 3 times, you would have heard a lot more gloating

oh i dont know about that. in 21 days i will be in richmond va, staying in the hotel i always stay in there, that sometimes has gnats in the bathroom.

Ok....single digits so close ....I can smell the burgers at Binion's on the grill. This trip is going to be interesting. The wife decided to invite her aunt. Who really doesnt get around too good. She is in her 80s. No problem it could very well be her last Vegas trip. She started going to Vegas 3-4 times a year in the early 50s. It will probably be a very emotional trip for her. She hasnt been in 4 years and talks Vegas constantly.

It will cause a few changes in our trip, but I think I will get a kick out of her enjoyment. Anyway we will be back at the end of July.
