Rebooked the hotel today and saved $50! Nice.... Almost at the 7 week mark which will put me into the 40's on the countdown.

i can not wait for this trip. i just saw a list of the tour dates that i was supposed to tag along on before i decided to use my vacation time for vegas. i have to say, i made the right decision.

Seems like forever since I've been here. I guess it's been a couple of months. Had to get an e-mail just to log back in to LVA!!

So, my last trip the first week in June (what happened to that trip report I never wrote?) was amazing and as soon as I got back (actually, it was before I got back) I booked another trip for the third week in August. Supposed to go the 19th - 23rd, staying at the Palms Place (my new favorite rooms). I've had the airfare booked for two months now with Virgin, but I am still debating if I am actually gonna go. I have been a bad, bad, bad boy with money this summer. Getting a big fat check on the 20th of August and I won't have another chance to get away for awhile.

So, yeah, two weeks from tomorrow. sheet, that is soon. maybe I need to prepare ...

i watched showgirls over the weekend just because it takes place in vegas. i forgot how unbelievably STUPID that movie is. every single thing about it.

but i did get to see the westward ho. i miss you.

Saturday:

After lunch, cab over to the Palms for the Podcastapalooza thingy. Take minimal funds for VP at the Palms. (like $100)

6:30 cab back to Venetian for Blue Man Group

9:00 late dinner at B&B Ristorante

early bed time. really. honest

Sunday

wake up really early and take a long walk down the strip before it gets to be 312315648921 degrees outside. I used to do this in the early mornings in Vegas, but I have been remiss.

Big gambling day at the venetian/palazzo. gamble gamble gamble

Lunch @ Sushi/Samba

4PM (tentative time) LVA meet at toby Keith's place at Harrah's

have some Dinner at Dos Caminos?

Monday

Whatever money is left over from Sunday....go play at Wynn. offers for fall would be nice.

Lunch - Cafe ba ba Reeba.

Evening.....downtown and drink beer at 4Q and partake of the molten chocolatey goodness that is the deep fried oreo.

Tuesday

Check out of Palazzo and into Caesars

early afternoon pedi appt

hang out with mike after his conference breaks up and do touristy things:

Eiffel Tower
Bellagio Fountains
Shark Reef?

take Mike to dinner at either Mesa or mon Ami. (can't decide)


Wednesday

give Caesars a little play. collect $200 show up cash

5PM (tentative) another meet at Fontana Lounge

i need to visit the palazzo on this trip. i forgot about it last time. i also am going to be there for the opening of cannery east so i should probably look into finding out exactly where it is.
