Finally under 20 days!!!

yesterday i was sitting at my desk and i got a really annoying email and i let out a huge disgrunted sigh. my manager was walking by and said something about how i should just count down the days to my vacation and without missing a beat i said "53 days". i dont think she expected that answer.

I cannot believe I am in double digits so fast. I have to admit I like it better when I only have 30 days after I plan the trip.

What a nice christmas present from hubby. Solo trip!!!

my posts in this thread are going to start getting longer as i get more excited.

first - i hit a royal on winpoker! yay!

second - i booked the california through travelocity because it was only $36/night for weekends. then for some reason, my job is no longer firewalling me from all the downtown casinos. so i am now able to access the california website and i saw my days listed for.....$36. so i could have booked directly with the hotel. trying to let it go.

then i get home yesterday and there is a letter from the cal. i have only gotten two mailers from them EVER and one was for four free nights when they had the norwalk virus. so i got this letter and thought "hey, its going to be free nights, isnt it?" but whew - it was $35 first night, second night free - sunday - thursday. so im still "safe".

im still mad i booked through travelocity though because my next binions offer may include free weekends. let it go. get over it. stop obsessing. LET IT GO.

right now plans include at least 1 members meet, a trip over to the Rio to see the WSOP final table, and multiple visits to SushiSamba

planning my itinerary seems like a waste because my trip is way too long for me to stick to it. but you know i am doing it anyway just to kill time.

i am also going to book a full day spa treatment.

Hopefully, I can hit a royal again. Last couple of times I went I did hit the royal, but I ended up helping my friend out.

Come on many royals on this trip!!!
