tomorrow is my last day in this thread! i cant wait.

my landlord came over yesterday and (a) raised my rent and (b) mentioned that he wants to redo my bathroom but id have to be gone for seven days. hey, how about 21? a contractor is coming tonight to give him an estimate. so crossed fingers, i may come home from vegas broke and exhausted and have a new bathroom waiting for me!

Bathroom renovations are always a pain. It's best to be away, especially if it is the only bathroom.

We'll be waiting for you on the other side.

i am so excited about this! my bathroom is so disgusting. first, the tops of the walls are green, the bottoms are black and white tiles. the floor is pink and black, so none of it goes.

the tiles on the walls are alllllllll cracked, the ceiling is repulsive and my biggest pet peeve is that there is a window in the bathroom with wood all around it, that has begun to rot from getting wet from being in the shower.

I thought our bathroom was bad before we renovated but yours sounds just horrible. Pink floor? Must be a 60's bathroom. Ours was lime green tile on the walls and a floor so ugly I can't even remember it. Much cleaner now. All white.

You should definately take before and after photos. We forgot the before photos and curse our stupidity everytime someone asks us about the renovation.

Good luck and hopefully your landlord will let you have some input on the color selections. Maybe use some examples from your hotel photos collection.

True bathroom story. After our first stay at Red Rock, June of 07 (I think), I, the guy, decided we needed to redo the Master bath just like Red Rock bathroom. Six, yes 6, months later, we had a beautiful RR style MBR. Never, I say never again, will Iput the bride out of ANYTHING for 6 months. She does like the heated Jaccuzi tub though!

skiteacher - im definitely taking before pictures. the contractor is coming tonight. i hope i dont have to clear out my bathroom closet for this. that would be such a pain in the ass to come home to.
