Suggestions depend on a lot of things. Like what kind of stuff you are interested in, or how long you're staying , and especially the budget.

Have you seen any shows on your previous trips? Are shows something you might enjoy? I don't think I went to a show until I saw O my third trip (first solo) out. Have to see a show or two each trip now.

Are you staying long enough to take a day away from Vegas on a side trip? There's a whole thread about side trips around here somewhere. Are you outdoorsy type people?

Are you fans of fine dining? Lots of available suggestions for that.

Well...we'll be there for a half day on Tuesday..the 5 full days. We ARE going to spend more time downtown...only spend a couple of hours last trip. We saw Jubilee and LOVE in Sept. And we went to Red Rock one day. Don't think we'll be doing much outdoor this trip...might be a wee bit chilly!!

As for fine dining, we didn't really do anything (Ruth's Chris was it). So we'll probably hit one or two nice restaurants. Don't know about shows...Spamalot isn't opening soon enough.

And BEER is always a good thing to do!!!

14 DAYS TO GO UNTIL VEGAS, only two more days of work until "RETIREMENT"! 3 nights at the California on a mailer with $40 in food, then two nights at Flamingo. Feb 11-16. I plan to take the Mrs. to Simply Ballroom so she can ooh and aahh over the gowns and get ups! It's also my birthday on the 13th so it's one big celebration time. We are almost out of doube digit land. This thread has been a great one! Now that I'll be a man of more leisure, I hope to get in a decent report after we get back.

Hotel - check. 4 nights at Paris (supposedly in a Suite LeMans) 2 nights in a Flamingo Go room.

Flight - check. 259 rt. 3:30 in the afternoon arrival time

Shows - semi-check. Spamalot on Tuesday the 24th. O on Friday the 27th. May also check out what's at the half price outlets for the other nights

Bankroll - uhhhh well, not so much. redoing the front bathroom. and it's gotten expensive. The tile guy started today and called with some expensive news.

Just thought we'd bump this one more time for you Karen...since we're only 3 days from being single digit midgets!!!

OK, so you can hang with me for a couple more days. How excited you must be to be approaching single digit-hood. Got all your plans set for the trip? All your reservations made?

time is moving so fast. i finally booked my flight home but i still havent booked my flight there. i also was thinking about not asking for the time off work and just calling in sick. but now it turns out i need that friday off as well so i cant call in sick monday and tuesday and then again friday. i also cant take vacation monday and tuesday and then call in sick on friday. or maybe i can.

we'll see.....
