confession, i love the imperial palace. there is nothing i enjoy more than standing out on that balcony and feeling vegas air on my face.

do you do the thing that i do where i start to countdown the days until i am back home and get upset over it?

My friends normally get mad at me when we are a couple hours into the flight and I say.... "I can't believe in X days we will be heading in the opposite direction back home, ugh!!!"

Then when we are walking to our baggage claim and I look up to see the people walking to their departure gates, and I say "That will be us in X days.... ugh!!!!"

I can't help it! What can I say, Im an optimistic pessimist!

OH HEY. im a liar. see, i didnt exactly book my trip because i wanted to get my vacation time confirmed first.

so when i went to book today, i found out i can leave one day eariler and the trip will cost me NINETY EIGHT DOLLARS.

so im leaving one day early and going for NINETY EIGHT DOLLARS.

oh and karen, i came THISCLOSE to not going to vegas and instead i would be in........tennesee (i dont know how to spell that) to see blacklisted that week but i cant give up a NINETY EIGHT DOLLAR trip to vegas.

so i am going to vegas.

for NINETY EIGHT DOLLARS.

and i leave before you.

29 days to go!!! Soooo excited since I had to cancel all my summer trips d/t illness. BUT I'm doin' great and CAN'T WAIT to get back to LV! Sat night at ESC (1st time; $69 after fees/taxes,) 3 free nights at Paris, 2 free nights at NYNY (1st time here too!) Meetin' friends from cali and son is going to ride the NYNY roller coaster for the 1st time!
