Did something crazy and booked yesterday for a trip in only 10 days. To get a cheap fare I booked leaving here early on Friday the 23rd and leaving late Saturday nite for a red-eye back by 6am Sunday. 36 hours in Vegas on a cash offer I couldn't refuse. The only way I could pull this off is by going solo. Don't plan on sleeping from Friday am until I get on the plane home. Maybe my midlife crisis since I turn double nickels the following week. Something to prove to the young'uns.

Not a special number -- 32 days -- but today is October 19th and on November 19th I'll be doing my final packing for my am departure the following morning!
