Double Digits!!!!!

47 days 20 hours for me!

today is my last day in double digits. woooohoooooo!!!!

It was too depressing to post a couple of months ago but I had to cancel my planned late December/early January trip due to a family emergency (since resolved) and then the death of a cousin and a long-time mentor. The holidays turned out fine; they were relaxing and I wound up spending a lot of quality time with family though I did miss Vegas.

Well, 21 days from today, I'll be in Vegas! Was able to swing the time, got a DECENT (though not great) fare on Southwest and all comped room stays, for 12 nights. I can't wait. I'm still thinking about participating in the Station Casinos Million Dollar Bingo Tournament. Unfortunately, my favorite Bingo place -- Palace Station -- is sold out for seats but I'm looking at some of the other Stations casinos instead.

I hope I finally have a super disciplined trip where I win, have fun, AND bring almost all of my winnings back home with me! Hope to get a lot of low limit poker in as well, which will be something new for me.

28 days to go. A little nervous about this trip since it's a long one (8 days). Usually do better on the hit and run weekends. No double booking this time, we're stringing them out. Caesars, Luxor, Palazzo and back to Caesars. Going back to Caesars was not in the original plan. Received a Sears card offer at the last minute that made it worth changing the flight home.

Karen has left us to hang out with those snobs on the single digit thread. I guess we now have no monitor to enforce her rules and slap our wrist when we get out of line.

The problem is that I can't think of anything bad to do, I'm getting boring
