Double Digits!!!!!

i am 99.9% positive i am going to add two more days onto my trip. lets see what the new vacation-time-nazi says about my request.

34 days to go. I am home again today, but I am the one sick this time. I guess I got whatever my little girl had Monday. Sucks having to use two sick days in one week, but I don't think I could have survived 136 seventh graders today with an upset stomach and no bathroom near my classroom.

i got the okay to add two days to my trip, but they arent going to pay me for them. i dont particularly care. im now going to vegas for a day and a half, then to cali and then back to vegas for two more days. ive warned the girl im going with that she is free to not come back to vegas with me and that if she chooses to go, she will be solo while i play vp. lets see what she chooses. if its to follow me and sit there bored while im playing, she will have made the wrong decision.

32 days to go. Now hubby is sick with the crud that my daughter and I had earlier this week. I am so ready to get out of this house!!

amy you must be going insane.

i was going to book a trip to atlantic city, but my job is docking me for the time i am taking so maybe i should save my money.

so far my trip looks like this:

arrive wednesday at around midnight (scheduled to arrive at 10:19 - i never arrive on time)
check into rio
eat at ellis island
gamble a bit

up thursday for a buffet (gave up red meat and bacon except for when in vegas, so i must eat bacon)
we're going to a show thursday night. ill be drunk when its over and i dont gamble drunk. so straight to bed with my phone next to me because my friend dan is heading to vegas after his show in phoenix on thursday. when he gets there, he will call and wake me up and we will meet for BEER for breakfast.

then i nap again and fly to cali.

then i return to vegas at 7:15 monday morning and im there until 5:00 wednesday night.

woooooooo.

jenaphir, I am going to start calling you the wrangler!! You do have some unique ways to wrangle days into vegas trips. You go lady!!!! Have a great time!!

31 more days. My ticker should be changing over to days either tomorrow or Tuesday!!! YEAHHHH!! How exciting. I can't believe it is getting so close. Thank goodness.

one of my favorite bands is playing vegas the day after i leave. why oh why did i not check the vegas shows calendar before booking my flight? now i HAVE to win a million dollars so i can quit my job and stay and extra day. thats the plan.

YEAH!! My ticker is now counting down the days instead of the months!!!!! I am getting closer now.
