14 days!!! Last trip was 2009. We had enough miles with northwest transferred miles to Delta to get 2 tickets then upgraded to economy comfort. Enough points with private Arrangements(Golden Nugget) for 2 free nights. Groupon for Grand Canyon south rim tour $89. This is a tight budget trip but we are going! Wanted to go around Christmas but granddaughter will be born early October with major heart surgeries(hypoplastic left heart syndrome) immediately needed and I will be needed for babysitting her brother and sister. If everything goes well she should be home by Thanksgiving. Surgery will be done at Ann Arbor Uof M. This will be first of 3 needed befor she is 2 years old. It's amazing what an ultrasound at 5 months into pregnancy can disclose on vital organs. This will be a journey my son and his wife will have to go through. They are only in their mid 20's but holding up strong. Lots fo family and love behind them. Planning on downtown gambling and catching up on the new site to see City Center Pawnstars place, husband wants to do gun range pinball museum and maybe a show.
