Last day in double digits! 10 days and counting!!!!!

16 Days & counting, surgery tomorrow for me, but have been cleared for Sept 28 th departure as long as no complications

Sixteen more days until I can escape this icebox that they call Minnesota....zero degrees right now with the mercury climbing all the way up to 3 degrees today with a high of 9 degrees tomorrow. Five comped nights at Harrah's. Daughter might fly in from California for a couple of days. Can't wait for Orhan, the bartender at the Harrahs diamond lounge, to fix me a tasty side car cocktail.

Someone recently posted on this site that people who post the number of days until they take a trip to Vegas was mentally hurting. Well here goes anyway, 28 days to our next trip to Vegas, Feb 10-15, flying Frontier saved over $100 compared to our old pal SW, staying at Golden Gate for first time , Suite 4 nights comped 2 nights $60 each. Will celebrate my 77th. Wife & I plan to visit The D, Fremont, Binions, Golden Nugget, El Cortez, Plaza, Main Street Station, Stage Door, Cromwells, Flamingo , Harrahs see Big Elvis eat at Toby Keiths, Linq, Cosmopolitan, Orleans eat at Big Al's Oyster Bar & others. Need a winning trip, last 3 have been negative on the gambling. Maybe he was right I am a little goofy when it comes to VEGAS.

10th anniversary trip February 24-28, staying at Paris. Host hooked us up with a Calais suite. After the last few weeks I've had, it's a much needed getaway.
